This is my lightweight, weather-resistant “problem solver” cord for travel and field improvisation: lashing, shelter builds (including plastic-bag shelter concepts), emergency tie-downs, and restraint/retention tasks. The heat resistance also makes it useful for rough vehicle fixes, and it can friction-cut a lot of non-metal materials when needed.
